On February 28th, Guilin Fuda Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as
Fuda) and Maschinenfabrik Alfing Kessler
GmbH. (hereinafter referred to as Alfing) held a joint venture signing ceremony
at Guilin Jolie Vue Boutique Hotel. Both parties will invest in the production of
large crankshafts.
Alfing is a world-renowned company founded in 1911 and has a long
history of more than 100 years. It is headquartered in Aalen, southern Germany.
The company has the world's most advanced production equipment and patented
technology. It is a global leader in large-scale crankshafts and induction
hardening equipment. It has produced more than 10 million crankshafts for
marine internal combustion engines, large generators and nuclear power
generators. It is the world leader in the production of large crankshafts from
4 meters to 8 meters and the world's largest supplier.
In recent years, Fuda has vigorously implemented the
transformation and upgrading strategy, carefully adjusted the industrial
structure according to the development trend of the automobile industry, and at
the same time strived to accelerate the pace of internationalization, and made
significant progress on the internationalization journey, with Mercedes-Benz,
Volvo, Toyota Hino, etc. A large number of internationally renowned automobile
and engine companies have established long-term business cooperation and become
one of the few companies in China that can supply core components to
world-renowned brands.
This joint venture is a strategic deployment of Fuda's
transformation and upgrading, which marks a new step for Fuda's transformation
and upgrading and internationalization strategy. At the same time, the
establishment of the joint venture company will play an active role in
promoting the development of advanced equipment manufacturing industry in
Guilin City.
The joint venture company mainly produces large crankshafts from
1.6 meters to 8 meters. The first phase of the joint venture company has a
total investment of 48 million euros, equivalent to 370 million yuan, and the two
parties have invested 50%respectively.
The establishment of the joint venture is an important event in the
history of development of both parties and is of great significance. Li Fuchao, chairman of Guilin Fuda Co., Ltd.,
said that the new joint venture will take advantage of the booming Chinese economy,
with the support of the party committee and government of Guilin and Lingui
